Every public company as one goal and one goal only, maximize profit for their shareholders. Removing the costly human from any service is pure capitalism logic. This means that every job that can be automated will be, it is just a question of time. This will cause massive shifts, new jobs will appear but it will come a time where there is less job available then active people. The only way to go ahead is to change radically how things work. A universal income and heavy taxes on the companies. The future can be bright, but our governments have to be willing to change radically and ensure that everyone can have enough money to eat and have a roof, otherwise the wealth gap will grow exponentially.
