I don't feel like it is an issue personally. To begin with, ai using others work to generate images is just the same as an artist using references to do his work. And also, to me "AI art" does not and cannot exist. At best an artist could use ai and make the Ai itself the piece of art, but what the ai produces will never be considered as art. Art is a creation made by a mind, the art always has a goal, a signification and implications. Ai art has none of this. It is just a generated image by a computer that follows the instructions of a human.
