I drive a CAT 793F at a gold mine for my job. I assumed I was going to be among the last ones replaced by AI. Not two months ago, the mine lead gave a presentation about his decision to begin purchasing autonomous equipment. 🤪 I do art professionally as well but we all know how safe that is from AI takeover. It sucks to be in the transitional phase of this paradigm shift. Super scary not knowing what’s going to happen next. At least it will hopefully be interesting.
