I've never seen a LLM spit out something useful when it comes to low level coding. The code is mostly just a fever dream and cannot even be compiled let alone run. So I doubt it'll take anyone's job, but "general" ML (not the LLM kind) on the other hand is very useful for pattern recognition in software development.
