I feel like ai art bros have no idea what creating something you can wholly call your own is actually like. To me, the process of creating something is as important as the finished piece. There is so much satisfaction in learning an watching yourself improve, in trying stuff out, in being inspired inspired by others. Holding a pencil or a brush and making the first strokes is in itself satisfying. Also the process of coming up with a good design or co position is just so much fun. They are really missing out on something amazing by just being focused on the optimal result. This is why ai art will never make me stop creating, even if making momey off of it will become harder and harder. Also, AI art could potentially help artists by, say, generating a first rough sketch or concept and having the artist refine it and shape it to their liking (as some people argue)... BUT most ai art bros have never touched a pencil in their lives and so they generate dozens upon dozens of pictures that look pretty much the same. Any sane person would pick up a pencil and make adjustments to the generated picture. But instead of learning how to do that, they complainon reddit or ask chatgpt for better prompts. They could practice drawing in that time but what's the point if ai always does it better anyway /s
