It's very important to mention that for every robot that replaces a job, at least 3 more jobs are created to engineer, build, and maintain the robot. Despite having more automation today than ever before, there are also more jobs than ever before. People have made the "they took our jobs" excuse since the industrial age but yet more and more jobs keep being created. People want to say it sucks they are taking away jobs from the truckers, but barely anyone wants to be a trucker nowadays. No one wants to pay more money for products to pay truckers more so more people would go into the industry either. Automating mundane jobs allows people to create new industries. If not for automation, we certainly wouldn't have people available to program YouTube, let alone have content creators.
