Maybe AI will destroy humanity, but first it needs to be invented. What we have now is nowhere near being real AI. The geniuses who will invent actual AI have not even been born yet, and I'm not convinced they will ever be born. It may very well be that we humans will be unable to create a godlike inteligence, just like it seems we will be unable to expand our presence beyond our own planet. I guess we'll need to stop thinking fantasies and start making things better for us on this planet.
