This is a very sensitive subject, or will be. I just don't want this to turn into more division in the country. I agree Ai needs to be taxed, LLM's should be taxed one for one (maybe 1 for every 3 workers they displace) with the workers they displace. Same thing for humanoid robots, 1 for 1 or at least 1 for 3. We also need to make it a law that if you have 1 humanoid robot you need to employ 1 human, or at least have a human supervisor over every, say, 3 robots. At least for a while so the transition doesn't get too chaotic. We do need to see the benefits here though, healthcare should be the biggest winner here. Good inexpensive robots will help home health for the elderly and people with special needs. Here is the last idea and maybe part of the answer here, what if humanoid robots were not taxed per individual. That way I could bring my robot to work and have it do the heavy lifting for me (literally). I would stay relevant regardless of what industry i was in. I hope we can debate and figure this out peacefully.
