Computer vision is not deeply flawed, its just insanely hard to be mathematically tractable.
A picture that is just 640x480 has at least 300,000 bytes of data, those bytes can be in any combination and it's a valid picture.
That is 2^2,457,600 combinations: the number far exceeds the number of atoms in the universe.
Shortcuts like AI leave huge gaps that we dont know about in there. We just dont have the mathematical ability to handle that as humans yet.
