Ethics evolve also with time. Having a human slave or beating up your wife used to be seen as a very normal thing centuries ago. So, we cannot judge in the present whatever comes in the future. What I see is that A.I. will come up as a new form of life and eventually we'll end up fusioning with robots too, we actually have already started that process.
