Geoffrey Hinton is acting like Koshchei from a Russian fairy tale, look at his face, he looks like a villain and alcoholic at the same time. He’s over-exaggerating and spreading nonsense about AI replacing everyone, all while looking out for his own financial interests. Even his own students are calling him out, saying the opposite of what he’s claiming. One of his students from Sweden is called the ‘Godfather of AI,’ and they call Hinton that too, wtf? Who gave him the Nobel Prize? Who gave him a microphone? Where do all these people suddenly come from, telling us what we should and shouldn’t be worried about? Don’t take everything he says seriously at all
