the biggest issue around AI generated art is that the AI doesnt just spontaneously learn and generate images; there are real people creating them and feeding them prompts, and almost all of the most vocal advocates are very aggressively and maliciously trying to hurt artists (look up how the stable diffusion subreddit is targeting @samdoesart rn)
