Most people who hype up or demonize AI tools actually never used them for real live tasks or are flat out lying.
For example, the AI company that sells voice recognition to fast food chains you mention here 18:52 can't even complete 30% of orders without human intervention. There is a long running joke in the tech industry that AI means actually Indians.
As for AI image generation, I used StableDiffusion and FLUX for roughly over a year but I'm currently learning to draw. Generating a stock photo or a pinup image of your favorite waifu takes just a few attempts, maybe 2-3 minutes, but you can probably just download a similar image. Coaxing something specific out of the AI can be very frustrating and can take hours, plus you still need to learn a lot about the technology and art in general anyway. Learning to draw is, at least for me, simply faster and gives better results.
