Current AI are nowhere near as adaptive to human society and context clues as humans. Calling AI a smart college kid is wild. Last week I spent hours trying to get midjourney to make me a praying mantis with one eye and it just can’t figure out what that means. Any human above the age of 7 could draw a praying mantis with one eye.
So after being trained on a million images of praying mantis AI still can’t figure out how to make one with a single eye. A task that would prove trivial for a child with crayons.
