99.9% of humans are literally worthless, so, the 0.01% that control AI and all the means of production launches real life Squid Games on a scale of an entire country. The rich get to make bets and see the lower classes struggle against each other for their amusement. And the lower classes get a few crumbs from the table, just enough to scrape by, as always.
This will be the world in 10 years.
