I had a Texas Chauffeurs License since I was 15 years old, I am 74 NOW. Back then one could DRIVE ANYTHING with wheels with that License. I had a CDL until a couple of YEARS ago, when I failed a Physical. Driving Trucks has NEVER PAID ANYTHING and it never will. I have hauled Cattle, Race Horses, Soft Produce, Super heavy Equipment, Building Materials and many other kinds of goods. All of the bitching you are doing was just the same FIFTY YEARS AGO. *Do what I did, learn to do something else* I have NEVER belonged to any Union and never will, they are controlled by THUGS and Criminals. I never heard of a Union that represented Bull Haulers, Produce Haulers, Heavy Equipment Haulers etc. They only represent Freight Haulers. It will NEVER PAY ANYTHING, never has, never will. Learn to do something else. No one will raise "Freight Rates" to please truck drivers. Economics does NOT work that way. Just for the record, it will be a LONG TIME before Driver Less Trucks will take over. I am AGAINST "Driverless Trucks" unless they are on a ROAD for the Driver Less Trucks Exclusively. This is another STUPID Techy bunch of Crap.
