Does it make a difference if we are deliberately presenting the images we make, with our brains and paper, to AI? I'm always hearing about the stealing. What about the giving? Does that seriously fuck up the bandwagon? And, interestingly, if AI is not allowed to study in the wild - does this mean that the only sample material AI will have will be practice drawings from people like me (thank me, later, once you're properly traumatised :) )?
I find it quite amusing to imagine a time when you get your way and AI is only allowed to study images gladly shared with it by the person who created them. And you're desperately prompting for a picture of a puppy in a sombrero. And you get my interpretation of a puppy in a sombrero. It feels really ironic.
Either let it find it's own food or I'll feed it. It's up to you.
