I love it how you're like "nobody likes ai art, nobody seeks it out", and here I am, actively enjoying and seeking it out. I may have no soul, no taste and I may not understand art, but I exist, I assure you. And there are plenty of people like me, as I currently interact with people like me, exchange findings, etc. I'm talking written text, music, video, you name it. You might wanna step out of your bubble, my guy. The biggest problem with art (as per your definitions), is that all art is created by artists. I.e. you need to have a certain mindset, a certain perspective on life in order to pursue art. You need to at least have the patience and the drive to at least learn an art skill. That means I will never connect through art with a person that lacks that mindset. I'll never be able to experience art of an accountant who believes she can't write or sing or paint. And now that the requirement for art skill is lifted, it's fascinating to see with what people who would never previously pursue art come up with. You don't have to choose, you know. You can still enjoy art made by professional artists and appreciate their effort and also enjoy the trashy song created by some dude who's never held a mic in his hand. Art was meant to be inclusive, but this...this is anything but.
