Those that think that self driving cars are cool and futuristic are short-sighted and incredibly unoriginal. I literally thought of this when I was 6 along with flying cars. Bullet trains and subways are infinitely better, efficient, and more futuristic. I'm sad that I'll never live to see ones built between states and further, nor even in my home city.
