Honestly, the fact they had volunteer pedos grooming kids in the youth program should have been the end of it, the FBI had to be brought in because they were not responding. Compared to that, I don't care if someone uses AI to edit their doc and fix punctuation ...
And, honestly, writers should be happy in the long-run about AI because, over the last many decades, have been reduced to being paid almost nothing and now we have the one thing the AI companies need, the AI oil—"human produced" great (hopefully) content, and we will be able to charge more going forward as the internet becomes awash with AI produced junk that is poisonous bile to training the models. Might take a bit, but I think this will end up in the writer's favor.
