Business insider has done worse. Fairly typical doomerism porn though. Self driving has the potential to give people money, time, and safety. This is not zero sum. Sure the makers will profit, but so will everyone else. These carless cities can be a reality because of this tech. Think about how much prime real estate is wasted on parking.
