Raw LLM Responses

I'm only just starting out learning to draw, like, JUST starting out, drawing boxes and shit. But my opinion is that I don't really care about AI art per se, but only if it's thought of as disposable, if it's like shovelware, used for stuff like easy youtube thumbnails, tabletop gaming NPC art, or just funny memes you send your friends, something people use when they don't really care too much about the art that's being made, it's just a cheap and easy way to fill a purpose before being thrown away because it's ultimately worthless. Unfortunately, I'm starting to see people who are taking pride in AI art, people who consider themselves "creatives" because they know what text prompts to enter to get the machine to spew out what they want. This is what I don't like, people thinking writing text prompts is even a fraction as creative as being an actual creative, thinking it's an actual skill just because not everyone can do it upon first touching an art generator and most people don't bother to learn. I get that it requires some effort and understanding to learn how to do it, but EVERYTHING requires SOME level of effort, but to consider it even in the same realm as an actual artist really rubs me the wrong way, I don't consider it any more impressive than someone who knows how to use a washing machine, and listening to them try and defend themselves as having a talent just feels insulting to anyone with actual talent and really feels like we've lowered the bar for what's considering accomplishing something.
