As someone who was born with the ability to draw, yes there definitely is people who can‘t no matter how much they try, everyone has certain capabilities and lacks others. I am a fkn adult and can‘t tie shoes. They‘ve tried teaching me my entire life. I can‘t. I can‘t tie shoes. And others? They can‘t draw. They can‘t and never will be able to. Now I don‘t use AI myself and don‘t think I ever will because I enjoy drawing, but I still am pro AI. I don‘t see a problem with it, I‘ve seen documentations about it in school and I don‘t see anything wrong with it nor do my teachers (art teachers included). The „humal soul“ argument is easily explainable by human psychology, just that there is no such thing as an actual human soul. Don‘t get me wrong, the anti-AI people I‘ve seen are wonderfully nice people most of the time and I share quite some values with you all, but with AI it seems we are polar opposites because I will defend AI until the day I get shown actual good reasons for why AI would be bad, and considering my school is teaching us about how useful AI can be and even how to use it ourselves, I will support it‘s usage. I know you‘re trying to be a hero. But what we see when we look at you, is a wanna-be vigilante. I am sorry.
