There's no way that human therapists, counselors, tutors, mentors, and other experts will ever be as affordable as AI chatbots, yet the demand for access to such individuals has no limits. And that doesn't even address the issues around friendships, romance, loneliness, etc... "Show me the incentives and I'll show you the outcomes." For good *and* for ill, this technology is being developed, and will become increasingly integrated into our lives. You can't stop it. At best, society can try to guide it in order to minimize harm and exploitation.
