there's some merit to the idea that people won't want ai art regardless of it's quality (because the fact a human made it is important to enjoying the art.) It is however, naive to think that it's impossible for ai to ever replicate the experience of a high quality artwork, because as it stands, AI is trained to be an all knowing deity, all of the associations it makes are rigorous and logical, which is why its art doesn't feel human. If it were trained act as though it had certain very specific life experiences, those would form the models creative writing to have more unconventional and interesting associative logic in it's storytelling, replicating a human touch.
