tbh there’s only one kind of AI art i can get behind: AI *augmented* art, not AI *generated* art. an artist creating their own database of images, videos, or sounds that they have the legal and ethical right to use in this way utilizing AI to create randomized glitchy effects that they can then arrange in a larger work with their own creative twist on it. AI can be a tool in an artist’s toolbox, but if it’s the only tool then they’re basically pasting a full page from vanity fair online and calling it scrapbooking.
