Yeah, they a laying people off to pay for the billions they are spending on AI however, they will put themselves out of business as ROI was way over estimated in the extreme! However, these large tech companies destroying themselves will be a good thing in the end. AI is a great tool to enhance worker capability and productivity and many will use it to start their own tech companies and start spreading the wealth around removing it from the hands of the few.
