If you don't have the patience, vision, and creativity to make art on a canvas, then AI art tools aren't for you either. I'm very much pro AI, but it is a tool for artists, not an end product. If you really want to make AI art because you feel that you cannot create art through another medium, it still takes hours of hard work, crafting prompts, correcting issues, refining composition, selecting reference images, honing and adjusting and perfecting your artwork. That can all be done with AI, but it's not any easier or more accessible to anyone than a paintbrush. There will come a day when AI digital art tools will be recognized as a great leap forward for artists, not a replacement for them; much the same way that MIDI hasn't made musicians obsolete.
