Great work on poisoning AI and I'm all for it, I think a lot more creatives should start doing it. I do have an opinion of what you said at 13:24 and wish to weigh in being someone who only has hobby level art skills. I'm a game developer and the "cost" point is the only reason I would ever consider using AI for art. Although my definition of lower cost of entry is different, It's not about the pure monetary cost but the time, skill and monetary cost to make art. Sure a pencil and paper costs practically nothing but the time investment to learn how to draw well is huge (1000s of hours) and while spending my time and skill on programming and design I simply can't "afford" the time/skill cost of learning to do the art myself, so I have a choice of hire an artist, use AI or cut the scope. An artist at $30 to $150 per hour can easily be far outside of the budget especially with a game that requires a large number of assets or complex animations. No one likes cutting back the scope of an idea, and finally today there's now AI which costs $10-$60 a month. This is the only reason AI is tempting. AI is more accessible to someone who wants/needs art and doesn't have the skill, time and/or budget to do it. To be clear I have never used AI for Art or Code, and wish artists had far more rights when it came to AI's stealing their work and have no plans to use AI, but I can understand the appeal when time/skill/monetary "cost" is a factor and you don't wanna cut back on scope.
