Why didn't AI inventors put the fictional but existentially pertainent equivalent of the Four Laws Of Robotics into the AI (yes, there are 4. Daneel, a robot, invented the 4th law). The laws of robotics were put in place for protecting fragile humans and even more frail humanity. It's like inventing cars without brakes. Worse, nuclear weapons without Permissive Action Links.
