I really appreciated this conversation with Geoffrey Hinton. Finally, an AI expert who seems to be talking honestly about the very real dangers of these super intelligent machines. I also really appreciated your very direct and pointy questions - we need more of that. The really scary thing right now in the USA is that Trump's so called "big beautiful bill" includes a clause which will make it illegal for any states in the USA to regulate AI for 10 years!!!
A great boon for the tech billionaires no doubt but disastrous for the rest of humanity........
