It's far better at making slop garbage than it is at doing anything actual. It's an expensive toy, nothing else.
Altman and the rest of the tech lizard people have ginormous egos and a bunch of people around them who kiss their asses every second and tell them whatever they want to hear, no matter how demented it sounds.
