Imo the AI isn't doing anything normal humans don't already do, but I understand the dilemma and frustration the community has. To be honest, artists should be able to opt in to databases for AI bots to draw from and get paid for their cooperation, otherwise the AI should be restricted to drawing from things in the public domain.
