At the end of the video, you reference a previous major shift in industry, and let's be clear, there have been multiple major revolutions over the last 2 centuries. And every time people start screaming and complaining about job loss, but are we off worse today then we were 200 years ago? We work a lot less today than we did back then and have a higher quality of life and a higher quality of living. And that has been made possible due to automation of tasks. And even if a company like Aurora succeeds, it will take decades to make the shift, it's not like these jobs will disappear overnight.
But we have to ensure that the new jobs that take the place of the current truck drivers ensure that people can maintain, or better yet, improve their standard of living. That is the most important part of such an evolution.
