Imagine for a second that the software fails, the GPS malfunctions, there is a powerful solar flare, and charged EMI particles hit the radars/lidars/other electronics/onboard wifi/whatever, or something else... Any software or hardware failure... or AI could go nuts and like: OH LOOK, A SHORTCUT! and this AI-vehicle, traveling at over 100 km/h, veers into the oncoming lane and crashes at full speed into a family van with 4-5 people inside.
Question: WILL ALL THREE FOUNDERS OF AURORA BE CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER! Or just the AI-truck alone?
