It's known that artists steal ideas and copy, they always have done, often it's just an influential thing, or inspirational. We ourselves have behaved like AI, taking it all in, but theft is theft, and these huge companies are not even offering to buy images from artists to use in their products, as they would for example a games illustrator. They are stealing plain and simple. Artists are often hated, especially those with other unrelated income who try and sell their art as a part time side hussle and avoid paying tax. Artists rarely get respect, and now we have the proof. Publishing wants to get rid of the human element for sure. They may not have sold their souls, but they'd sell ours in an instant. We upload and share things freely, and now we're all paying. This proves that nothing online is private, everything is accessible. Credit reference agencies can check your accounts and balances without you giving them the password you need yourself to access your own data. We are completely and utterly stupid. This is just the beginning of the end it seems.
