In a world of A.I., humans become less productive and less profitable. People will be more of a liability than an asset. A.I. can be a tool to liberate mankind and the human spirit but in the hands of the elite it will be used as a tool to maintain their feudal system, with less of a need for laborers. It would be a better use of resources to free humanity to pursue its maximum potential free from the constraints of the hamster wheel that requires we give our life's most precious resource to those that minimize it. A.I. could spark a human Renaissance or it could be a disaster for humanity. Exploitation or liberation. We have a choice. Or we can do what we've always done when stupidity and fear are spread on a mass scale.
