The thing is not about replacement ,its about assistance.
Now when AI ,which is now general intelligent, becomes superIntelligent could assist (mark my words) , could assist in even complex problems.
When it can provide assistance to more ,thats where the turning point arrives.
No matter whether i am a expert or mediocre at my job .
A slight effort of mine + Superintelligent assistance could effect the results..
The people who got sidelined in their jobs due to any reason may comeback and that would raise the competition heavily…
For example ,u are a content creator, u have to do so much of research before any video , then editing ,playback, thumbanails and many more.
Now suppose if that work gets easier with superintelligent assistance , then how many people would enter this field.
