in this day and age you should not have any videos of yourself, pictures, audio (biometrics) in digital form and accessible on the open web. if it can be found likely via social media you are low hanging fruit. in the example in the video it was a edited screen shot. you dont need ai to edit text in a screenshot unless you dont know how to use gimp or your iq <70, ai really does not change much in this area. because it was a cleartext sms message the phone company will have it on its servers, all that was needed to be done was request the data and the failure was trust of the submitted evidence as valid without proof you never do that. there are ways you can protect yourself in this modern age but it requires a skillful and proactive future approach to these problems. - keep all biometrics of yourself off the internet in social media. - just because social media is set to "private" does not mean its private it still exists on back end servers that in time will be compromised. - if you have a valid need to send biometric data across the internet like a call or send a video or picture wrap it in encryption, set message expiration times and keep it off social media and keep it between trusted non hostile parties. if you remove the source material they would feed into ai to make a copy they have nothing to work with. the tools are public but you control what data can be fed into this systems. if you have tighter access controls over biometrics on the internet found by literately anyone this would not be a problem correct? do a better job...
