I have little to no legal knowledge, but I do have a higher than average knowledge about machine learning models. The part that really got me was when the lawyer says "I thought ChatGPT was a search engine." That hurt my brain. Even my mother, who knows less about AI than I do law, knows that ChatGPT is not a search engine. He would have been better off using r/askreddit to write his case. Come on man, at least go to r/legaladvice.
