Your comparison of self driving vehicles vs Public transit doesn’t make sense because when drunk Jessica leaves the bar at 3 AM and needs a ride home, would she rather: A) Trust her drunken vulnerable self with a total stranger who probably has a criminal record or B) Take a self driving vehicle with no risk of harassing her whatsoever.
