I have no opinion on this, I don’t care. I just hate the idea of using something unquantifiable like “a soul” in an argument as to why something is bad. And the idea that when you ask something for a screencap (a screenshot, a 1:1 replica of an image.) you should expect something original and inspiring. If you asked a human to give you a “screencap of dune” they would just give you the exact same thing. The same applies with subtly asking the ai to draw Homer, if you subtly asked a human to draw Homer… they would draw Homer.
