Wait until you see a Vfx Artist use both. Ai is not meant to be stand-alone, it's a tool that complements the craft, period. BTW your Ai example is terrible. I could get better results without even using an Ai-Vfx Hybrid approach. You guys can try to look good all you want with sloppy Ai and sloppier Vfx. But the creatives using it to create wonders are out there.
