Yes ai is stealing when replicating styles, there's a large difference between someone seeing a style or work of art and being inspired by it vs algorithmically and precisely copying a style. With artists human error makes the art unique, with ai that error does not exist so it can only take from existing works and no matter how much you squish the copied works together at the end of the day it's still been stolen
