About a couple of months ago, I made a comment on a video comparing actual photos to AI and ever since then I have had nonstop bombardment of people advocating for AI or people defending real art and recently one stuck out for some reason someone said the most random thing and it was that I spend a couple of hours editing something before posting it And for some reason they thought that that would be a good idea to post a comment saying that, even though it was unrelated to the comment. and also, I do agree in inspiration and straight up theft has complete differences whereas inspiration is slightly incorporating parts of someone else’s style or things that you’ve seen into what you make whereas stealing is legally taking someone else’s work and claiming it as your own and inspiration can be a subconscious thing it’s not even intentional half the time but even if it is intentional like if someone’s trying out a another person‘s art style they’re like they gonna try to make their own character in that art style, not steal the persons art style and character anything as their own. here’s a little metaphor. You don’t fix a phone with a hammer same goes for AI. AI should not be used for every aspect of things. It is probably good in certain areas but not good in most areas. You don’t try to fix a phone with a hammer you don’t try to screw in a screw into a wall with a hammer you use the specialized tool for those jobs you take your phone to a technician or use a screwdriver or drill to drill in that screw.
