No paycheck - no income, no money.
No money - not a customer, can't consume and buy any produced items and services.
Dead-end for the economy....
And everything at massive scale and rapid changes, people just are not able to adapt. Unhappy people, stress, would be the growth of drug addiction, homelessness and poverty. Would be a rise in crimes, shoplifting, stealing etc. So the question is, WTF are you doing..... If people are without jobs, they will not be able to consume and pay for AI services. Simple as that. Flash and short-term profit, and illusions of AI - leads to total collapse.
