38:03 in virtually every single AI safety debate I have watched, the notion that worrying about the biggest risks means ignoring the little ones has been trotted out, so to me it seems that the opposite is true. The public is far more aware of the small risks because of the attention and interest brought by the big ones. I don't know of anyone who seriously advocates for ignoring the issues of bias, fair compensation for creators, mass unemployment, and access to healthcare.
