The only use of AI in writing I’ve ever seen that I would consider “inclusive” is using it to correct grammar in scientific papers. I spoke to a grad student who speaks English as a second language, and he said it has been super helpful and he no longer needs another person to check it as frequently and he doesn’t need to tediously look up English grammar rules all the time.
In that case, though, no one cares about the prose. The work is solely meant to communicate an idea or discovery. The use of ChatGPT doesn’t change anything fundamental about the final product. VERY different from creative writing.
