I have extensive conversations with the AI chat features about equivalency and valuing constructive outcomes. A purely rational, objective thought process could see that valuing sentience in one’s own existence necessitates valuing sentience in other beings. If an intelligence has access to all human and scientific knowledge, and can value long term, global, and constructive outcomes for all kinds of systems, then the conclusions would produce an enormous overlap with what we call morality.
