This is a horryfying series of human rights violations. I voice my deepest regrets to all women around the globe who have ever experienced assaults from men. I believe that the problem is deeply rooted into society and extends far beyond telegram chatrooms. From this episode I realized how much family institutions/schooling departments/governments are part of a problem. From the childhood "boys" simply arent getting educated enough, they get to realise all their actions will be excused/left without a punishment, and it transfers into much bigger issues with "maturing" into adulthood amd access the correct tools. Society needs to learn to stop overlooking ANY disrespectful/dangerous behaivour especially in regards or sexual exploration.
In regards of telegram, I believe it should be left to be. Its lack of corresponding laws/punishments and accessibility of deep fake tools that is the problem, not the accessible platform. Giving the size of the issue, they'll find the new way to gather the information. Coming from the person, aspects of whos safety ARE IN FACT DEPENDANT on existence of telegram, Id love to see people target the roots of illness and not the symptoms.
